About Composite Plus

Composite Plus manufactures CNC-milled plugs, production moulds, and composite products

Composite Plus combines hands-on production knowledge with engineering capability to support demanding composite tooling projects. Our work includes CNC-machined plugs, production moulds, and composite components for clients who need reliable execution and production-ready results.

We believe good outcomes depend on more than machinery alone. Clear communication, realistic planning, and an understanding of the full production process are just as important as technical precision.

Key Milestones

From our roots in Saaremaa to large-format CNC milling and production moulds for clients across Europe, Composite Plus has grown by steadily expanding its engineering, manufacturing, and delivery capabilities.

2025

A stronger manufacturing partner for marine and industrial projects

By 2025, Composite Plus stands as an established composite tooling and production mould partner for clients across Europe. Working from Saaremaa, Estonia, the company combines large-format 5-axis CNC milling, production mould manufacturing, and GRP production in one workflow, serving both boatbuilders and industrial clients with demanding technical requirements.

2022

A clear one-stop-shop positioning for GRP industry customers

By 2022, Composite Plus was publicly presented as a one-stop shop for GRP industry customers, bringing together 5-axis CNC milling, plugs and production moulds, and GRP production under one roof. This positioning helped define the company more clearly as a full-process manufacturing partner rather than a single-service supplier.

2020

Stable focus on composite mould production

In 2020, Composite Plus continued to focus on composite mould production and GRP tooling projects during a challenging market period. This stable production base helped the company maintain its core expertise and prepare for the next stage of growth in large-format composite tooling.

2018–2019

Collaboration on Estonia’s first autonomous vessel project

In 2018–2019, Composite Plus contributed to the NYMO autonomous vessel development project led by TalTech’s Small Craft Competence Centre. Composite Plus manufactured the test hull model, supporting an R&D project that combined marine engineering, model testing and autonomous vessel development.

2017

Stronger export base and stable client demand

By 2017, the company had reached a stronger and more stable customer base. Composite Plus continued exporting mainly to Germany, Norway and other Scandinavian countries, while looking towards new export opportunities in Denmark and the Netherlands.

2016

5-axis CNC milling added as a new service

In 2016, Composite Plus added 5-axis CNC milling as a new in-house service, primarily for large-format product models and composite tooling. This was a major step in moving from traditional GRP production towards a more complete digital-to-tooling workflow.

2015

Exploring offshore industry opportunities

Composite Plus was part of the Estonian joint stand at Offshore Technology Days 2015 in Stavanger, Norway. This marked an early step in positioning the company’s GRP manufacturing and tooling know-how towards demanding offshore and industrial markets.

2011

Company founded in Saaremaa

Composite Plus OÜ was founded in 2011 in Saaremaa, Estonia. From the beginning, the company focused on composite and GRP-related manufacturing, building its expertise in moulds, models and custom fibreglass products.

How We Work

Every project starts with a clear understanding of the client’s requirements, production goals, and technical input. At this stage, we review 3D drawings, specifications, and project timing to define the most suitable approach for the project. Detailed specification input from Client allows us to compose precise quotation for the start.

Step 1

Quoting, Technical Review and Project Planning

Every project starts with a clear understanding of the client’s requirements, production goals, and technical input. At this stage, we review drawings, 3D models, specifications, and timing to define the most suitable approach for the project.

Step 2

Engineering Support and Preparation

Once the project scope is agreed, we move into technical preparation. This includes engineering support, workflow planning, and the practical decisions needed to prepare the project for CNC machining, mould production, or composite manufacturing.

Step 3

Manufacturing and Quality Control

Production is carried out in-house using our CNC and composite manufacturing capabilities. Throughout the process, we focus on controlled workmanship, consistent surface quality, and reliable execution to ensure the final result is ready for real production use.

Step 4

Delivery and Ongoing Collaboration

We complete each project with careful finishing, delivery coordination, and clear communication with the client. Our goal is not only to deliver a finished mould or component, but to support a smooth production process from start to finish.

Production environment and capacity

Composite Plus operates from Saaremaa, Estonia, in a production environment built for large and technically demanding composite tooling projects.

Our facility combines large-format CNC capability, dedicated space for production moulds and composite manufacturing and an experienced team that understands both the technical and practical side of production.

This setup allows us to support marine and industrial clients with reliable scheduling, controlled workmanship, and consistent quality across every stage of the project.
